Paddy Upton was appointed Mental Conditioning and Strategic Leadership Coach of the Indian National cricket team in 2008 and under him and Gary Kirsten has Head Coach, Team India attained the ICC top test team ranking for their first time (2009), and went on to win the ICC World Cup in 2011.
Upton is a phenomenon in the world of cricket. Starting as a fitness trainer, he has now moved on to become a mental conditioning coach who brings out the best in players through his unique philosophy and coaching style.
The Barefoot Coach will give us a close insight into his unique line of thinking. It is also a sports memoir of sorts that will document Paddy’s interactions with some of the greats of international cricket both from India and other cricket-playing countries.
PADDY UPTON is a South African cricket coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of the Rajasthan Royals IPL team.
